Welcome to saveblacklake.org

Save Black Lake Coalition is a non-profit organization made up of Black Lake residents dedicated to keeping our lake beautiful for generations to come.

The primary objective of SBLC is to keep our lake water clean of noxious weeds, invasive species, and nuisance weeds that prevent lake enjoyment and damage boat and watercraft engines.

Invasive weeds can starve our lake of much needed oxygen, killing fish and eventually causing Black Lake to become a ‘Dead Lake’.

To get involved, please sign up for our newsletter, ask about volunteer opportunities, participate in fundraising efforts, and encourage your neighbors to join us at the community meetings where we learn from experts on how we can effectively manage our lake water quality.

As a community, we are working towards a Lake Management plan to eradicate and manage the invasive and noxious weed growth in Black Lake.  Your input and support is needed for this process to be a success!
